Melrose-Mindoro can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Cashton Eagles as the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs made off with  a  24-6 victory. Melrose-Mindoro's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Melrose-Mindoro let  Hailey Hiles and  Cooper Zeman loose on the outfield. Hiles  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 4-for-6, while  Zeman  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of her six plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Miranda Banse, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 The  win  made it two in a row for Melrose-Mindoro and  bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Cashton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Melrose-Mindoro will  challenge Alma Center Lincoln at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Alma Center Lincoln will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last. As for Cashton, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Wonewoc-Center at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Cashton is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
