Burlingame extended the longest winning streak in Peninsula - Ocean this week by beating Half Moon Bay, 49-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
The Cougars lost to Burlingame 49-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Watson Filikitonga provided a threat through the air and on the ground as San Mateo defeated Capuchino.
Tommy Cook was the best receiver in the league this week as Woodside fell to Aragon. Cook racked up 4 receptions for 41 yards. Mitchell Cockrum helped Woodside's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 33 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Wildcats' Robert Wang and Josh Holman have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-9 quarterback Wang has thrown for 1,171 yards this season, while Holman has 28 catches for 532 yards. The Bearcats' Line Latu leads the league in rushing yards with 547.
The Dons are currently in second, while Half Moon Bay is in fifth.
Keith Holden's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,650 from 10,834. The advance stemmed from a 49-14 victory over the Cougars last week.
