The Oconee Christian Academy Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-45 victory over Barnes Academy. The win was just what Oconee Christian Academy needed coming off of a 53-24 defeat in their prior match.
Oconee Christian Academy was led to victory by Carson Duncan and Daniel Frick. Duncan scored 13 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Frick scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Frick has scored all season. Chuck Brooks was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Oconee Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Barnes Academy, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oconee Christian Academy will take on Laurens Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barnes Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cambridge Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cambridge Academy is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
