There's no place like home for Sherwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the McMinnville Grizzlies on Friday. The Bowmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

Sherwood got a massive performance out of Sam Hunt, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Hunt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gavyn Murphy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Sherwood is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for McMinnville, with the defeat, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-5.
