The Covenant Preparatory School Knights will play host again and welcome the Shady Acres Christian Mavericks, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in The Covenant Preparatory School's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Even though Lake Houston HomeSchool scored an imposing 76 points on Friday, The Covenant Preparatory School still came out on top. The Covenant Preparatory School slipped by Lake Houston HomeSchool 77-76.
The Covenant Preparatory School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tye Leatherman, who scored 18 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Lane Kisslinger, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Shady Acres Christian didn't have too much trouble with The Connection School of Houston on the road last Monday as they won 39-20. The victory was just what Shady Acres Christian needed coming off of a 60-35 loss in their prior matchup.
The Covenant Preparatory School's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Shady Acres Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
