The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Epiphany in their matchups with Wayne Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Epiphany still got an impressive performance from Alanna Moye, who scored 25 points. That was a full 69.4% of Epiphany's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kameron Bazille, who scored nine points.
Epiphany has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Wayne Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home.
Epiphany will take on Wayne Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wayne Christian is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Epiphany in North Carolina (Wayne Christian is ranked 75th, while Epiphany is ranked 431st). As for Wayne Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Epiphany at 5:30 p.m.
