Make it 15 blowout wins for the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders this season. They breezed by Northeast Academy at home to the tune of 67-18 on Friday. With Pungo Christian Academy ahead 43-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Maddox Lee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Spencer, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Northeast Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Judson Smith and Mason Vann. Smith scored 11 points along with six rebounds, while Vann scored no points.
The win makes it two in a row for Pungo Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 21-4. As for Northeast Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Pungo Christian Academy will take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Northeast Academy is on the road again on Monday and plays the Colts at 6:35 p.m. on February 5th. Albemarle School comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
