Kiowa's Lonny Trehal recorded the longest rushing play in A-8 East - Black Forest (8 Man) this season in his game against Pikes Peak Christian last week. Trehal ran for 85 yards on the play and finished with 150 on the day as his team topped the Eagles.
Elbert extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Miami-Yoder, 48-8. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

Cody Norris put up the best numbers through the air as Simla beat Genoa-Hugo/Karval. He finished with four completions for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Norris' favorite target this week was Jason George, who caught one pass for 45 yards.
On the ground, the Cubs' Damian Bell has rushed for 960 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Janes. The Kiowa star has 22 catches for 302 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Elbert and Simla. Shawn Graves' team enters the contest ranked fourth in the state, while the Cubs ranks 22nd.
Simla's Bell needs only 40 yards against the Bulldogs next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
