The Beth Haven Bearcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Eminence, falling 63-19. Beth Haven was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Eminence was led to victory by Georgia Scott and Victoria Spiegl. Scott dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Spiegl scored 20 points along with seven assists and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Smith, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Beth Haven dropped their record down to 2-16 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Eminence, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beth Haven will face off against the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eminence, they will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Carroll County is ranked 248th, while the Warriors are ranked 229th).
