On Friday, Lincoln put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Sweet Springs/Malta Bend as they made off with a 40-8 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
The victory bumped Lincoln's record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Sweet Springs/Malta Bend's record to 2-3.
Lincoln will look to defend their home turf next week against Tipton at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Lincoln and Tipton will really light up the scoreboard. As for Sweet Springs/Malta Bend, they will face off against Santa Fe. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
