Despite the loss, Clarkdale still got an impressive performance from Ladonya Adams, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Mcdill, who scored three points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Scott Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Clarkdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott Central will stay at home for another game and welcome Lake at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Lake is ranked 196th, while Scott Central is ranked 186th). As for Clarkdale, they will be playing at home against Bay Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay Springs is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
