The Peoples Baptist Academy Knights kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a serious blow against Trinity Christian School of Griffin, falling 79-35.
Trinity Christian School of Griffin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalen English , who scored 25 points along with 7 rebounds. Jaylen Dallas was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 10 steals.
Peoples Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peoples Baptist Academy will take on Grace Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they will head out on the road to face off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rock Springs Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday.
