Assumption's defeat pushed them down to 1-19. The victory was the third in a row for Amherst and raised their record to 7-13.
The Royals will be playing at home against Marathon Friday. Amherst will stay at home against Weyauwega-Fremont Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
