McCrory is 5-0 against Carlisle since November of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The McCrory Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Carlisle Bison at 7:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, McCrory came up short against Des Arc and fell 38-30.
Meanwhile, Carlisle came tearing into Friday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past Hazen with a 20-14 victory.
Holden Jones was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 20 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 144 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.
McCrory's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for Carlisle, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything went McCrory's way against Carlisle in their previous meeting back in October of 2021 as McCrory made off with a 40-14 victory. Will McCrory repeat their success, or does Carlisle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
