The Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 43-34 to Wilder. Gem State Adventist Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jarod Avalos, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Avalos has scored all season.
Gem State Adventist Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Wilder, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gem State Adventist Academy will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Twin Falls Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Wilder, they will play host again and welcome the Grizzlies, where tip off is scheduled for TBD on Tuesday.
