After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gretna East, Bennington was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bennington also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

They hit Roncalli Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Gifford, Rihanna Rodriguez, and Tora Aken.

The win snapped Bennington's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-7 record. As for Roncalli Catholic, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Bennington wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Elkhorn on the 5th. Roncalli Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
