Neodesha extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley this week by beating Burlington, 37-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Blue Streaks.
Neodesha took down the Wildcats 37-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Justice Baird threw for 71 yards and one touchdown and ran for 64 yards in the win.
Neodesha's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Streaks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Baird has thrown for 482 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Tycen Hanna has five catches for 202 yards. Jake Crawford leads the league in rushing with 673 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cherryvale takes on Caney Valley. The Chargers are in fourth place, while the Bullpups are in second place.
Yates Center and Marais des Cygnes Valley played the most hotly contested game in Tri-Valley this week, with Yates Center eventually emerging with a 6-4 victory.
