Basketball Recap: Berean Baptist Academy Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Berean Baptist Academy had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Justin Caldwell did his part to make it nine on Tuesday. The Berean Baptist Academy Bulldogs were the clear victor by an 81-56 margin over the Northwood Temple Academy Eagles thanks in part to Caldwell, who posted 45 points. The matchup was his ninth in a row with at least ten points.

Northwood Temple Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Winston Waite, who had 11 points and five rebounds. Kenny Vera was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Berean Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Northwood Temple Academy, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

Berean Baptist Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-59 loss against Freedom Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-71 victory against Ambassador Christian School on the 14th.
