Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Summit Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as American Leadership Academy only rushed for 61.
South Summit's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Summit Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
South Summit was able to grind out a solid victory over Summit Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 45-33. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Summit Academy's Aden Stines, who threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also picked up 58 receiving yards and a touchdown.
