Del Oro waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves as they made off with an 18-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Suns, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Del Oro got a massive performance out of Nayomi Mosqueda, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Yuliana Barajas, who got on base in three of her six plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Del Oro was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .459. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in six consecutive games.

Del Oro's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Del Oro will welcome Ridgeview at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolf Pack have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.9 runs per game on average), something the Suns will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Fresno at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.43 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
