Roseburg took down North Salem 55-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
South Eugene made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,917 from 12,001. The improvement came about via a 49-14 victory over the Axemen last week.
Sheldon's Taylor Alie and Connor Strahm have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 6A Southwest in both passing and receiving yards. Alie has thrown for 1982 yards this season, while Strahm, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 52 catches for 664 yards. Aaron Downes from Thurston leads the league in rushing with 651 yards.
Going into this week's game against Douglas, the Irish's Alie needs 18 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
The Indians led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on the Vikings.
