While Nottoway put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Prince Edward County. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over the Eagles. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Nottoway is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Prince Edward County, they dropped their record down to 0-11-1 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.
