Cumberland Valley's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Hayden Ackley, who had 29 digs and one assist, and Isaiah Sibbitt, who had 41 assists. Sibbitt is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 22 or more in each of the last 33 games he's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Northeastern duked it out with Palmyra on Thursday. The Bobcats blew past the Cougars 3-0. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Northeastern walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-10.
Cumberland Valley's victory bumped their record up to 17-0-1. As for Northeastern, their win bumped their record up to 27-10-8.
