Tuscola has not had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Tuscola lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jed West, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That was a full 37.5% of Tuscola's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Peyton Ollis was another key contributor, scoring three points along with five rebounds and two steals.
North Henderson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Pierce, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Zion McDaniel, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Tuscola's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for North Henderson, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Tuscola will take on the Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. East Henderson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Mountaineers in North Carolina (the Eagles are ranked 137th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 561st). As for North Henderson, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Tuesday.
