Lincoln County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 27 points or more this season.
Awaken Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Katelynn Montello, who scored six points along with nine steals and five assists. Montello is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Phoenix Sharp, who scored ten points along with nine blocks and six rebounds.
Lincoln County's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. As for Awaken Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
