North Paulding is 0-5 against Walton since November of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Wolfpack will host the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
On Friday, North Paulding strolled past Wheeler with points to spare, taking the game 43-29. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wolfpack's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Wildcats are ranked 127th).

Tyler Niehr
| 10/17/25 @ Wheeler | 4 |
| 10/03/25 vs Etowah | 3 |
| 09/12/25 @ Cherokee | 3 |
| 09/06/24 @ South Paulding | 3 |
| 09/19/25 vs North Cobb | 2 |
North Paulding's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Niehr, who threw for 169 yards and four touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns gave Niehr a new career-high. Presley Carr was Niehr's top target, picking up 90 receiving yards and three TDs.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walton). They blew past Etowah, posting a 42-8 win. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
North Paulding better keep an eye on Noriega Thompson. He was instrumental in Walton's win, rushing for 209 yards and three scores on only ten carries. They are 4-1 when Thompson posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Walton proved: they limited Etowah to a paltry 3.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Noah Lavallee for the heroic effort on defense: he. Walton didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.6.
North Paulding's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Walton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Khalil Harrell and Thompson. Harrell just won't slow down this season and has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 99 rushing yards per game. Thompson has been a dominant force too and has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 113.9 rushing yards per game.
North Paulding might still be hurting after the 42-20 defeat they got from Walton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Wolfpack have more luck at home instead of on the road?
