Cold Springs found their leader in underclassman Ella Dickerson, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. The contest was Dickerson's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Ella Bruer was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 assists.
Cold Springs' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Holly Pond, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cold Springs' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Southeastern at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. Southeastern is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Holly Pond, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Decatur Heritage Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday.
