Prairie City has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Burns Hilanders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-7, which was the final score in Prairie City's tilt against the Mustangs last Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prairie City has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Burns had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They breezed by Riverside on the road to the tune of 48-16. Burns has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 31 points or more this season.
Prairie City now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Burns, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.
Prairie City lost to the Hilanders on the road by a decisive 57-38 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2017. Can Prairie City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
