Ropes entered their tilt with Smyer on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Bobcats, posting a 62-16 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Ropes' win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Smyer, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Coincidentally, Ropes and Smyer will both be playing Plains the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Cowboys at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
