Colonial-Schuylkill - C Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Dante Carr Delivers Electric Effort Vs Tri-Valley
Starting off the list is Minersville's Dante Carr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carr rushed for 146 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Carr might have his next game, a road matchup with Panther Valley, circled on his calendar. Carr threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in September of 2023.

A Season-Best Performance from Fletcher Thompson Leads Williams Valley over Shenandoah Valley
On Friday, Williams Valley got the W thanks in part to Fletcher Thompson playing the best football he has all season. Thompson rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.
Williams Valley pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Thompson will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Pine Grove on Friday.

Brady Shomper Makes It Two for Williams Valley
Another Williams Valley player making an appearance on this list is Brady Shomper. He threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Shomper and Williams Valley will take on Pine Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cardinals, probably because Shomper had a solid game then too: he threw for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Underclassman Rory Dixon Comes Up Big Against Pine Grove
While it always takes a team to win, one person punching above their weight class on Friday was Rory Dixon. Pine Grove had no answer to Dixon as he rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns.
Dixon must have Pine Grove's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Dixon last faced Pine Grove back in October of 2023, he rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown.
