There's no place like home for the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 48-37 victory over Green Sea Floyds on Wednesday. That's another feather in the cap for Hannah-Pamplico, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Green Sea Floyds saw an underclassman step up: Tanisha Myers scored ten points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Dee Dee Boyd, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Hannah-Pamplico's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Green Sea Floyds, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
Hannah-Pamplico will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake View at 6:15 p.m. Lake View is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Green Sea Floyds, they will head out on the road to face off against Latta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Latta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Tuesday.
