The Lakeland Eagles will head out on the road to  challenge  the South Lyon Lions at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lakeland will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Lakeland gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  17-0 margin over Mott.
  Haley Stein looked comfortable as she  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk).
 At the plate, Lakeland got a  massive  performance out of  Nathalie Hagle, who  went 2-for-2 with two  triples, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.  Izzy Bedini was another key contributor,  going 4-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 Meanwhile, South Lyon fell victim to Dakota and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They lost  6-0 to the Cougars. It was the first time  this season that South Lyon let down their fans at home.
 Lakeland is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record  this season. As for South Lyon, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 7-1.
 Lakeland beat South Lyon 8-4  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lakeland since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
