Even though the Carl Junction Bulldogs have not done well against the Nevada Tigers recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Carl Junction snuck past Nevada with a 66-62 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Carl Junction.
It was another big night for Brody Pant, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Vediz, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Carl Junction has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Nevada, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Carl Junction will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Joplin at 6:00 p.m. As for Nevada, they will head out on the road to challenge El Dorado Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
