The Southington Blue Knights were the  56-38 winner over the Bristol Central Rams when they last played one another  back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Southington fell just short of the Rams by a score of  41-39.
 Despite the loss, Southington still got an impressive performance from   Lily Cooper, who  scored 16 points along with four  steals and two  blocks. It was the first time this season that  Cooper  posted two or more  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Katie Doherty, who  scored six points along with two  steals.
 Southington now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Bristol Central,  the  victory  got them back to even at 8-8.
 Southington will head out on the road to  take on  the River Hawks at 6:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Connecticut (Farmington is ranked 44th, while the Blue Knights are ranked 41st). As for Bristol Central, they will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 6:45  p.m.  on Monday.
