Roxbury took  a  38-point  loss the last time they faced off against Chatham, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Gaels slipped by the Cougars  28-27 on Saturday. The Gaels' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Roxbury found their leader in sophomore  Frankie Falco, who rushed for 184 yards and a pair of  TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 108 yards and one  touchdown while completing 88.9% of his passes.
 Despite the loss, Chatham still got an impressive performance from   Ryan Hogan, who threw for 238 yards and two  TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards and one  score.  Nick Lagunowich was  Hogan's top target, picking up 67 receiving yards, while also punching in one  touchdown on the ground.
The  win was  the third in a row for Roxbury, bringing their record up to 4-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two points across that stretch. As for Chatham, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Coming up, Roxbury will challenge Randolph at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Gaels will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.67  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Chatham, they will take on West Morris Mendham at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
