The Weiss Wolves entered their tilt with the Bryan Vikings with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Weiss' defense stepped up to hand Bryan a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Weiss considering their one-goal performance the contest before.
Weiss pushed their record up to 5-5-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Bryan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5-5.
Coincidentally, Weiss and Bryan will both be playing Midway the next time they take the pitch. Bryan will host Midway at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Weiss will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
