Malibu entered their tilt with Nordhoff on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Nordhoff Rangers. That's more bragging rights for the Sharks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Malibu never let Nordhoff on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-20.

Malibu's record now sits at 11-6. As for Nordhoff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Malibu is taking a road trip to challenge Granada Hills Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nordhoff, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beacon Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
