Niobrara/Verdigre dropped their record down to 0-18 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Neligh-Oakdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.
Niobrara/Verdigre took a serious blow against Neligh-Oakdale in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 74-41. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Niobrara/Verdigre was down 38-18.
