The win was all the more spectacular given Southeast's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Northwest is ranked 24th).
Meanwhile, Heights can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past South 74-43 at home.
Heights' success was spearheaded by the efforts of T.J. Williams, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds, and Chase Robinson, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that Williams posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Aven Mboule, who scored 14 points.
Southeast now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Heights, their win bumped their record up to 15-0.
