The Annapolis Cougars will head out to face off against the Redford Union Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Annapolis has three straight wins, Redford Union has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, Annapolis made easy work of Robichaud and carried off a 22-6 victory. Considering the Cougars have won eight contests by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Brooke Bianchi 2025 was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those hits marked the first that she has got this season.
In other batting news, Annapolis let Joselle Grimm 2026 and Alexis Mousseau 2028 run wild. Grimm 2026 got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double, while Mousseau 2028 got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. With that strong performance, Grimm 2026 is now averaging an impressive 1.5 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Rihanna Diggs 2026, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Annapolis lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
