Taylor is 1-9 against Wyoming since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Taylor Yellowjackets will head out on the road to take on the Wyoming Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Taylor comes in on three and Wyoming on ten.
Even though Madeira scored an imposing 63 points on Tuesday, Taylor still came out on top. Taylor managed a 67-63 victory over Madeira.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wyoming beat Bishop Fenwick 52-46 on Tuesday. Given Wyoming's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Bishop Fenwick is ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Taylor now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Wyoming, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
Taylor couldn't quite finish off Wyoming in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 48-45. Can Taylor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
