Summit Academy North have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Chandler Park Academy at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Summit Academy North, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Summit Academy North took care of business in their home opener. They came out on top against University Prep Science & Math with a 21-8.
Chandler Park Academy had a rough outing against Denby three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Chandler Park Academy were able to grind out a solid victory over Old Redford Academy last Friday, winning 16-6.
Their wins bumped Summit Academy North to 1-0 and Chandler Park Academy to 1-2. Summit Academy North caused 5 turnovers against University Prep Science & Math, so Chandler Park Academy will need to take especially good care of the ball.
