While Odessa didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Odessa and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Pleasant Hill, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Odessa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-3 defeat against Lawson on the 9th. Pleasant Hill has also already played their next match (against St. Pius X), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
