If The Coahulla Creek Colts were feeling good off their 48-9 takedown of the LaFayette Ramblers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Coahulla Creek took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Adairsville on Friday. It was the first time this season that Coahulla Creek let down their fans at home.
Jamarian Pullum was a one-man wrecking crew for Adairsville as he rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns. Pullum was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.
Adairsville's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Jett Johnson and his two sacks.
Coahulla Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Adairsville, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Coahulla Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Adairsville will be playing in front of their home fans against Gilmer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gilmer is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
