With a playoff win on the line, Casey-Westfield rose to the challenge on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Martinsville Bluestreaks. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Casey-Westfield, bringing their record up to 17-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Martinsville, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Casey-Westfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Altamont on the 21st. Martinsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
