Narbonne extended the longest winning streak in Marine this week by beating Gardena, 53-7. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Carson took down Banning 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Narbonne's dynamic duo of Troy Williams and A.J. Richardson proved tough for the Panthers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Williams threw for 349 yards and six touchdowns and Richardson had 132 yards receiving. Johnell Jackson helped Narbonne's passing attack out by catching four balls for 85 yards.
Tyree Simmons was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 132 yards as Gardena topped Gardena. Marshon Newsome also contributed to the rushing game with 29 yards on the ground.
The Gauchos' Williams and Richardson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 1881 yards this season, while Richardson, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 38 catches for 618 yards. The Panthers' Simmons leads the league in rushing yards with 1326.
Entering into this week's contest against Locke, Williams is short just 119 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.
