The North East Indians will face off against the Havre de Grace Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with North East sitting on three straight wins and Havre de Grace on four.
North East is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Elkton a 20-0 shutout on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Jazmyn Martin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

Like North East, Havre de Grace also got a great game from a two-way player: Lilly Dalton. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Dalton was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North East hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. However, it's not like Havre de Grace struggles in that department as they've averaged .360. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
