It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sebeka had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Pine River-Backus Tigers 73-51. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Max Lake continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9-for-14 en route to 28 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Sebeka's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Kiser, who posted 12 points.
Sebeka was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 17-3 when they've passed the ball that well.
Sebeka's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Pine River-Backus, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.
