The Walters Blue Devils and the Dibble Demons squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Walters Blue Devils had to settle for second. They took a 40-26 bruising from the Demons. Walters was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dibble apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.
It was another big night for Jag Norman, who rushed for 136 yards and four touchdowns for Dibble. Norman is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season. Austin Maddox also helped out with an impressive 127 receiving yards.
Walters' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Dibble, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Walters does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dibble will square off against Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dibble in Oklahoma (Woodland is ranked 49th, while Dibble is ranked 137th).
