Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mather). They blew past the Chicago Academy Cougars 60-29 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Rangers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Mather found their leader in sophomore Temi Yesufu, who went 9 for 12 on her way to 19 points and five assists. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for Yesufu. Kayrhianna Jackson was another key player, going 6 of 11 en route to 15 points and six boards.

Loss or not, Chicago Academy got some senior leadership from Destiny Rodriguez and Lizbeth Sanchez. Rodriguez posted 12 points, while Sanchez put up nine points.

Mather's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Chicago Academy, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Mather wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-20 defeat against Chicago Marshall on the 31st.
